Long time Chamber board members and community volunteers, JoDe Bradt and Magen Lehr accepted the positions of Executive Co-Directors in July 2024. After much deliberation, the board felt that the incredible boost in social media engagement, increased newsletter subscribers and the overall positive community engagement that has taken place during this interim time was proof enough that two of our current volunteers were making the positive impact the Chamber desired. JoDe and Magen were not asked to jump in and begin creating, promoting and meeting with members, but they just did. They have already been volunteering their skills and bright, caring personalities to promoting the Chamber’s vision for Alva, so transitioning them from a volunteer role to assuming the titles of Executive Co-Directors just made sense. Magen and JoDe report that they didn’t mean to fall in love with the job, but after working with the wonderful chamber members, their passion for Alva has grown.
